Your account.
Your permissions.
Account security and trading risk are different responsibilities. Here is what protects your website account today, and what the demo trading connection requires.
Account protection
Passwords are stored as salted, one-way hashes. Login sessions use HTTP-only cookies, expire automatically, and are revoked on logout or password reset. Login attempts are limited.
Limited information
Registration asks for a name, email address, and password. Demo connection separately requires your MT5 trading password, used securely to establish access and not stored by pilotX. Withdrawal access is not required.
Capital stays with your broker
The demo trading connection requires permission to place and manage trades in a supported broker account. Your funds remain with your broker. pilotX does not require withdrawal access.
Control over execution
The workflow checks your approved risk and account restrictions before entry. A pause blocks new entries. Broker availability and confirmation govern pending-order cancellation; existing filled positions remain managed.
Protect your account
Use a unique password, keep your email account secure, and log out on shared devices. pilotX support will never ask for your password, verification link, or broker credentials.
Report a security issue
Report suspected account misuse or a security issue through our support contact. Include a description and relevant time, without sending credentials or customer data.
Your capital is at risk. Trading can result in losses. Stop losses and risk limits do not guarantee a maximum loss. Read the risk disclosure.
