Read this before you connect an account or switch automation on. If you do not understand these risks, do not use pilotX for live trading.
Important notice
- No guaranteed returns. pilotX does not guarantee any profit or return. Past, demo or example results do not predict future results.
- Trading involves risk, and losses are part of trading. You can lose some or all of the money in your trading account, and losses can be larger than planned.
- We never collect or hold your trading funds. Your money stays in your own broker account at all times. pilotX does not receive, pool or move it, and cannot withdraw it.
- You stay in control. pilotX's software automates trading in your own broker account according to the risk settings you choose during onboarding. You can change them, pause or stop at any time from the platform.
1. Trading can lose money, including more than you planned
- Gold (XAUUSD) is usually traded as a leveraged CFD. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. You can lose some or all of the money in your trading account.
- Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
2. Your risk setting is a plan, not a guarantee
- Maximum risk per trade (1–10%) sets how much of your balance pilotX plans to risk if a trade hits its stop loss. Actual planned risk can be lower, for example because of your broker's minimum lot size.
- Total planned open risk is capped at 20% of your balance across open trades.
- A stop loss is not guaranteed. Price gaps (for example at market open or on news), slippage, spread widening, commissions, swaps and broker execution can make a realised loss larger than planned.
- Several losing trades in a row are normal and can add up to a large drawdown, even within your settings.
3. Automation and AI risks
- pilotX's AI decides when a setup qualifies. Its decisions can be wrong. Past, demo or example results do not predict future results, and pilotX does not promise any return.
- pilotX may not trade for long periods. It may skip trades because of your settings, your balance, margin, broker conditions or market hours.
- Software, data, network, broker-connectivity (MetaApi) or hosting failures can delay, skip or prevent actions, including order placement, cancellation or reconciliation. Positions already open keep their stop loss and target at your broker.
- We do not guarantee continuous availability.
4. Broker risks
- Your money is held by your broker, not by pilotX. Your broker's solvency, regulation, execution quality, pricing, margin rules, fees and terms affect your results. pilotX cannot change them.
- Your broker may close positions (for example a margin call or stop-out) independently of pilotX.
- Demo accounts can behave differently from live accounts. Fills, slippage and pricing on live can be worse.
5. Your responsibilities
- Make sure your trading is lawful for you, including any foreign-exchange, tax or reporting rules where you live. pilotX does not check or advise on this.
- Keep your settings appropriate for your finances, watch your account, and pause automation if your circumstances change.
- You can pause at any time; you can also close positions directly with your broker.
6. No advice
pilotX is software. Nothing on pilotX (decisions, trades, activity, examples or content) is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a statement that trading is suitable for you. Consider independent advice.
7. Fees affect results
Subscriptions and the profit share (plus GST) reduce your net results. A profit share is charged only on new profit, but the subscription is charged regardless of results. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
